Iridescent Fantasy Portal with Glowing Runes

The portal looms before her, a colossal vortex of shimmering, iridescent light that seems to tear the very fabric of reality. Its surface ripples like liquid mercury, reflecting distorted images of distant, alien landscapes—towering crystalline spires, jagged obsidian mountains, and skies painted in hues of violet and gold. Jagged bolts of raw energy arc across its edges, hissing and spitting like serpents, while the air around it hums with a low, resonant frequency that vibrates deep within her bones. At its center, the portal pulses with an almost sentient rhythm, as if it breathes, drawing in the surrounding light and shadow. Strange, glowing runes float along its perimeter, ancient symbols that twist and writhe like living things, their meanings lost to time. The ground beneath it is scorched and cracked, radiating outward in a spiderweb of fissures, as though the earth itself recoils from the portal's unnatural presence. Wisps of ethereal mist curl from its surface, carrying faint whispers in a language both haunting and familiar, tugging at the edges of her memory. It is a gateway to realms untold, a maelstrom of power and mystery that dares her to step forward—or flee.
