Felt Christmas Village Storybook Illustration

A very childlike Christmas fairy-tale scene, crafted entirely from soft felt and fluffy cotton, presented as a handmade textile illustration, like a cozy storybook page or a Christmas wall tapestry. 🧸 Overall feeling The entire scene feels gentle, safe, warm, and magical — designed for children, evoking bedtime stories on Christmas Eve. 🧵 Materials & textures (important) Everything is made exclusively of felt fabric, cotton padding, embroidery thread, and soft stitching. No realism, no paint, no shine — only textile softness. 🌌 Sky & night The night sky is made of deep navy and indigo felt, slightly padded, with rounded shapes. Stars are stitched felt dots and tiny embroidered crosses, glowing softly. Snowflakes are small cotton tufts sewn into the sky, floating gently. ❄️ Snow & ground The snow-covered ground is formed from thick, cloud-like cotton, uneven and plush, like a blanket. Soft felt shadows in pale blue create a cuddly sense of depth. 🏠 Houses & windows Little storybook houses made of pastel felt (cream, soft red, pale blue) are scattered across the scene. Each house has glowing windows, made of warm yellow and orange felt, softly embroidered to look like candlelight inside. Curtains are suggested with stitched lines, adding charm. 🕯️ Candlelight & Christmas warmth Small felt candles sit in windows and outside near doors. Their flames are made from layered felt in gold and soft orange, with a tiny cotton halo to suggest glow. The light subtly illuminates nearby felt surfaces. 🎄 Christmas details Fir trees are cut from rounded green felt shapes, childlike and simple, with cotton snow on the branches. A central Christmas tree stands proudly, decorated with stitched stars, tiny felt baubles, and cotton garlands. A few wrapped presents made of felt sit in the snow, tied with embroidered ribbons. 🪡 Craft & illustration style Visible stitching, thick embroidery lines, and soft seams everywhere. Slightly imperfect shapes enhance the handmade, storybook charm.
