Somber abstract play of shadow and sudden glowing light

The shadow comes to take its place, I meet its stare with open grace. No need to fix or push aside, I let the heavy darkness bide. Then comes the shine, a sudden glow, But even this I must let go. I cannot clutch the morning sun, Its time is through when it is done. The dark and light both have the right, To pass within my inner sight. But neither guest can claim the day, They bow their heads and drift away. (dark foreboding colors, split light and dark diagonal).
