Surreal Swedish Winter Landscape Art

An abstract, surreal mixed-media artwork with a Swedish crime theme. The fragmented silhouette of a young man dissolves into snowflakes at the edge of an endless Swedish winter landscape. The work combines Doug Chinnery's ethereal abstract photography with Maud Lewis's folk art. The upper section features layered, soft-focus abstractions in icy cyan, light blue, silver, and white, multiple exposure effects, ghostly transparencies, grainy textures, sky-blue bokeh spheres that float like frozen breath, and a dreamlike atmosphere. The lower section presents charming half-timbered houses with bright red windows, stylized, decorative fir trees in deep forest green with playful, snow-covered branches, a quince-yellow mailbox with a black cat resting on it, and a bright reddish-brown wooden barn, creating a stark contrast to the ominous narrative. The artwork uses a color palette of arctic white, cyan, silver, light blue, deep forest green, anthracite and red accents.
