Futuristic Pop-Up Cityscape Illustration

A vibrant, detailed pop-up book illustration of a futuristic, sci-fi cityscape reminiscent of a retro-futuristic cartoon. The composition features multi-layered, 3D paper-cut elements of towering skyscrapers with various architectural styles, including sleek metallic spires, rounded domes, and structures with glowing neon signs like "NY" and "Planet Express". In the foreground, a group of stylized, expressive cartoon characters stands on a raised paper platform, including a slender silver robot, a man in a red jacket, a woman with purple hair, and other diverse figures in colorful, whimsical outfits. The scene is filled with flying saucer-shaped spacecraft gliding between buildings. The art style is clean-lined 2D animation with a watercolor texture, characterized by a bright and cheerful color palette of blues, oranges, reds, and yellows. The lighting is bright and even, suggesting a clear day in a bustling metropolis, creating a nostalgic, adventurous, and whimsical mood.
