Roman Emperor Cartoon With Flaming Torch

A humorous cartoon drawing in black and white, depicting a plump Roman emperor with a laurel wreath on his head and a wide, ecstatic grin. He is dressed in a toga and sandals, holding a flaming torch high in his right hand, with smoke billowing dramatically. In his left hand, he carries a lyre. His body is slightly tilted, suggesting movement, and sweat droplets are depicted around his head. To the right, a Roman soldier wearing a helmet, also sweating profusely, looks on with a worried expression. The background is simple, with a curtain to the left and implied architecture or interior space. The style is reminiscent of classic comic strips or editorial cartoons, with bold outlines and expressive linework. The overall mood is chaotic and comical, hinting at the emperor playing music or celebrating while his city, or at least his surroundings, are burning.
