Regarding the Bugatti Veyron, the car's exterior silhouette breaks completely with the bulbous lines of the original 2005 Veyron: The Front End ("Intelligent Nose"): It retains the iconic horseshoe grille, now flanked by air curtain openings and an S-Duct piercing the hood. Just above the sharp LED headlights, the carbon bodywork reveals a subtle cut line concealing two active flaps; these emerge like blades only during braking forces exceeding 1.2 G. The Cockpit ("Fighter Jet" Effect): The windshield is noticeably narrower and lower, framed by exposed carbon fiber pillars that double as aerodynamic foils. The roof is no longer flat; it features a sculpted central channel (the upper Coanda channel) that slopes gently toward the rear. The Side Profile: The round, periscope-style upper air intakes are gone entirely. Instead, the side profile is completely fluid, interrupted only by two subtle, low-mounted NACA ducts. The rear fender appears slimmer and sharper—having shed two tire sizes—with the bodywork arching inward in a radical concave curve to channel air toward the rear. The Rear: With no periscopes obstructing the path, the rear deck slopes down cleanly in a perfect aerodynamic drop, directing airflow straight onto the retractable spoiler. The rear fenders feature integrated micro-vents for heat extraction, and the rear fascia completes the design with the outlets of the lower Coanda tunnels flanking an optimized central exhaust outlet.
