PicLumen Community — Featured Article Guidelines

Featured is an editorial highlight, not a rating of your talent.

To ensure category diversity and fairness, featured slots are limited and rotated regularly. Even high-quality articles may not be featured immediately.

1. Safety & Compliance

We will not feature (and may remove/restrict) content involving:

  • NSFW: Nudity or explicit sexual content.
  • Minor Protection: Any sexualized content involving minors (Zero Tolerance).
  • Violence & Hate: Graphic gore, self-harm, harassment, or hate speech.
  • Legal Risks: Instructions for illegal acts, unconsented real-person likenesses, or identifiable public figures.
  • IP Infringement: Obvious trademark or intellectual property violations.

2. The "Teaching" Standard

A Featured Article must be more than just a beautiful image; it must teach others. We look for:

  • Clear Goal: What are you trying to create? (e.g., "A cinematic perfume ad").
  • Key Moves: What are the specific prompt fragments or settings that define the look?
  • Reproducibility: Can others follow your logic to get a similar high-quality result?

3. Usability Requirements

If readers can’t try it, we can’t feature it. Your article must include:

  • The Prompt: The core keyword combination used.
  • Key Settings: Model version, aspect ratio, and essential parameters.
  • Pro-Tips: Advice on what to avoid (e.g., "no text" or "keep identity consistent").

4. Output Quality

We prioritize "Tutorial-Cover" quality. We avoid featuring:

  • Low Resolution: Blurry or pixelated outputs.
  • Visual Artifacts: Major distortions, warped anatomy, extra limbs, or messy details.
  • Drafts: Images that look like "prompt testing" rather than a finished result.

5. 30-Second Featured Checklist

  • One-Line Goal - State clearly what the prompt achieves.
  • 3 Key Moves - List the most important keywords or settings.
  • 2 Replaceable Slots - Tell users which words to swap to remix it.
  • Clean Image - Ensure the output is free of obvious AI glitches.

6. Why wasn't I featured?

  • Missing Context: Looks great, but doesn't explain how it was achieved.
  • Low Effort: Prompt notes are too short, gibberish, or mismatched with the result.
  • Redundancy: If you post many similar variations, we will only pick the most "teachable" one.
  • Rotation: We may delay featuring the same creator to give others a chance.

Note: These guidelines are not exhaustive. We reserve the right to act on content that violates the spirit of the PicLumen community.
