Renaissance Couple Portrait in a Castle Garden

This is a formal, meticulously crafted, full-length Renaissance portrait of a man and a woman, in the Renaissance style, seated side by side in three-quarter view. The composition uses traditional portraiture techniques. A young woman of royal descent, tall, slender, graceful and thin for her age, with a delicately shaped, narrow nose. She has a narrow face and blue eyes. Her extremely long, floor-length, wavy, golden-blond hair is worn partly in a halo braid and partly undone, falling to the ground and spreading across the grassy ground of the garden. She wears a wreath of bellflowers on her forehead and is singing to him with her head bowed on his shoulder. Her attire is an ivory organza gown in the Italian Renaissance style, with long, slit, wide sleeves, a long, floor-length skirt and embroidered hem. Under the outer garment, in the wide neckline, a pale lilac organza silk brocade dress is visible. The edges of the dress are decorated with a purple silk ribbon decorated with gold embroidery in the French Renaissance style. He has fiery red and dark red, wavy shoulder-length hair. His clothing is a medieval style dress. He is wearing a white shirt, a gray tunic with a red stand-up collar, green trousers, brown leather boots, and a dark red cloak. On his shoulders is a brown leather pauldron The man's greatsword has an ornate gilded hilt, the pommel of which depicts an eglantine rose at the end, and its blade is decorated with a red and gold Celtic pattern on a silver background, lying in the grass leaning against the fallen and broken pillar. The man and woman sit side by side on a broken pillar lying on the ground, and the man watches with a joyful expression as the girl sings. The background is the courtyard of a medieval, somewhat fairytale-like castle, the architectural elements of which are made in an ornately carved Renaissance style, of leafy green, red and white marble, with silver and gilded-bronze decorations. The walls are decorated with mosaics depicting graceful female figures and warrior men, and the arched doors of the hall are decorated with Renaissance carvings of light marble. The oil painting technique creates soft, blended shadows on the face. The s
