Boiled potatoes with golden onions, melting butter, and rising steam

Boiled potatoes—smooth, rounded pieces—sit in a dish, topped with onions sautéed to a golden brown. A pat of butter begins to melt, and steam rises from the food. Nearby are lightly salted cucumbers and fresh dill, along with breaded, fried chicken drumsticks. A large bottle with an attractive label—featuring a sprig of ripe apples and the words "Apple Cider"—stands alongside. A thin-walled glass with a gold rim around the top is half-filled.
