A smiling cartoon worker stands on a high wind turbine platform

A smiling cartoon man works high up on a wind turbine platform in this vintage rubber-hose style illustration. He wears a yellow hard hat, a puffy red jacket, a safety harness, mustard trousers, and chunky dark boots. One hand rests on a big curved teal turbine blade while the other holds up a silver wrench. His big grin, round eyes, and bouncy, bendy limbs give him a playful, upbeat feel. Behind him, a plain cream sky is filled with simple puffy clouds, and small rounded wind turbines stand on soft teal hills. The flat shapes, bold ink outlines, grainy print texture, and limited palette of cream, red, teal, and mustard bring back the look of old 1930s cartoons. It would suit clean energy stories, safety posters, children's books, and retro design projects.
