This is a formal, meticulously crafted, full-length Renaissance portrait of a woman in the Renaissance style, in three-quarter view. The composition uses traditional portrait techniques. A young woman of royal descent, slender and graceful. She has a delicate face, a proportionately high forehead, and a beautifully shaped, aristocratic nose. Her eyes are blue. She has long, wavy, dark red hair that reaches her shoulders and back. On her head she wears a shiny, ornate gold tiara decorated with shells, teardrop-shaped pale blue aquamarines, and dangling strings of pearls. Her attire is an antique Greek-style dress. She wears a long, blue, sheer, pleated, asymmetrical organza dress that leaves one shoulder bare. She wears a golden belt studded with emerald scales On her upper arms and wrists she wears bracelets made of shiny gold coins and real pearls, and around her neck she wears a necklace decorated with aquamarines and sapphires.
