The visual style is black-and-white animation, with the exception of the lotus flower and her red lipstick. film noir aesthetic, with sharp contrasts, dramatic chiaroscuro lighting, and a palpable sense of danger. Inspired by the gritty photography of Weegee and the atmospheric cinematography of Billy Wilder's "Double Indemnity."
