A pair of beautifully carved and lifelike marble statues adorn a well. The water in the well flows from a rustic, forest spring-like stone block. The other statue depicts a woman of perfect beauty. She has tucked the hem of her picturesquely arranged tunic into her belt. She wears sandals on her shapely legs, and her wavy hair is tied in a Greek bun and secured with hair bands. Roses bloom in the grass next to her feet. The scene depicted by the sculpture composition: The man holds his palms under the flowing water, and the woman, leaning over his palms, drinks gently with her own hands.
