Deux silhouettes flânent dans une rue de banlieue près d’un drive de McDonald’s

Impressionist painting of two figures strolling along a suburban street with a McDonalds drive through on the other side of the road. They are only lightly defined—more impressions of people than precise portraits—yet their movement feels alive. Its sunset, the sky is filled with pale peach and powder-blue clouds that blend into one another, capturing the changing atmosphere rather than sharp outlines. Shadows are painted with cool violets and blues instead of black, and sunlight seems to dance across every surface. Up close, the canvas appears to be a mosaic of energetic dabs and strokes. From a few steps back, those marks merge into a luminous, vibrant landscape that conveys the sensation of a single, beautiful instant before it slips away.
