Femme masquée en robe de plumes de paon près d'une grande fenêtre

A young woman in an exquisite dress, standing by a tall window. She is slightly turned to the right and is looking down. She is wearing an openwork mask of turquoise and white: it covers the area around her eyes, and thin threads and decorations hang from it. Her silver hair is gathered into a high hairstyle, crowned by a lush headdress made of turquoise flowers and long peacock feathers with characteristic round “eyes”. The woman is wearing a long white dress with cool turquoise patterns. It reveals the shoulders and is adorned with semi‑transparent capes that fall from the arms. A voluminous train stretches across the floor and occupies almost the entire lower part of the image; it is made of dark green and turquoise peacock feathers interspersed with white fabric folds. The action takes place in a spacious, dimly lit room. Soft light pours in through a large window with tall frames, outlining the figure and the folds of the dress. In the background, a matte greenish‑gray wall is visible. Small blue and turquoise petals or feathers are scattered in the air around the woman, creating a sense of light movement. The painting’s palette consists mainly of shades of turquoise, emerald, white, and gray‑green. Soft brushstrokes and diffused light give the image a fairy‑tale, theatrical atmosphere.
