Filz-Mittelmeer-Marktgasse mit bunten Obstständen

A Mediterranean market made entirely of felt. The floor is beige felt, soft and irregular, like an old square. The stalls form a narrow corridor, all with wooden structures recreated in brown felt and blue and white striped awnings that fall with a light movement. At the first stall there are mountains of felt fruit: round oranges with small stitches, yellow lemons with green leaves, textured purple figs and watermelons cut with embroidered black seeds. At the next, boxes of vegetables: red and green peppers, zucchini with sewn stripes, carrots with protruding leaves and tomatoes joined by a stem. Among the stalls there is an overturned felt basket, an antique scale made of gray and gold felt and a Mediterranean felt kitten sitting under a table. Above the awnings hang colorful pennants. In the background, a sand-colored felt facade with embroidered windows and a half-open green shutter completes the warm atmosphere of the market.
