Winzige Menschen, die um eine Milchtee-Tasse auf dem Tisch leben

In the middle of a large wooden table in a coffee shop, the Phuc Long milk tea cup seems to have become a separate world - where the little people are living and doing their daily activities. The tall white and blue cup with the familiar logo has now become a giant tower for them. On top is a layer of rich milk cream, covering the rim of the cup like a sweet cloud. A few little people are sitting on it, their legs swinging on the edge of the cream, holding small spoons to scoop up a little bit of milk foam as if enjoying a lavish party. At the foot of the cup, a small living area has been set up. There are tiny tables and chairs made of bamboo toothpicks and coffee beans, where a few people are sitting and chatting, sipping milk tea poured from the remaining drops on the lid of the cup. The giant straw is used as a slide, where the little children play, laughing loudly into the cup. On the body of the cup is a small arched door, the light inside is shining a warm yellow. It was the entrance to the world inside the cup – where the little people lived like in a multi-storey house. There was the sound of the stove clattering, the scent of tea wafting gently. Outside, some people were drying tiny towels on a rope tied around the bottom of the cup, some were setting up small umbrellas to avoid the sunlight from the shop lights shining down. It was like a miniature city – lively, cozy, and poetic – right under the seemingly ordinary cup of milk tea. If you look closely at the Phuc Long cup next time, you might also see someone little relaxing under the sweet cream.
