This is a formal, meticulously crafted, full-length Renaissance portrait of a woman in the Renaissance style, in three-quarter view. The composition uses traditional portrait techniques. She is a slender and graceful young woman of royal descent. She has a delicate face, a proportionately high forehead, and a beautifully shaped, aristocratic nose. Her eyes are blue. She wears her long, wavy, light brown hair, partly in a halo braid, partly in a curled bun. On her head she wears a small silver crown decorated with swan feather motifs.
