The shadow comes to take its place, I meet its stare with open grace. No need to fix or push aside, I let the heavy darkness bide. Then comes the shine, a sudden glow, But even this I must let go. I cannot clutch the morning sun, Its time is through when it is done. The dark and light both have the right, To pass within my inner sight.
