A colossal, WWII Aircraft carrier crashed on a desert planet for eons, its broken hull is spread across the the bottom of a deep canyon. There are several astronauts looking down into the canyon wondering how they can get down in there to salvage the old wreck. There are two moons in the sky in the Distance and the atmophere has a slight brownish tint to it suggesting a poisous atmosphere. Done in the classic style of Chesley Bonestell
