What Is Pose Control?
Pose Control is a new feature in PicLumen that lets you customize a person’s pose for your AI-generated images. Sometimes you have a very specific pose in mind—this feature makes sure your generated character follows that pose accurately, so you can achieve exactly the look you want.

Why Use Pose Control?
Fine-tuned Results: Get precisely the pose you need, whether a relaxed stance or a dynamic action pose.
Creative Flexibility: Combine a chosen pose with your own prompts. That way, the AI keeps the posture you want while generating new characters.
How It Works
Pose Control is simple. Here’s the general flow:
1. Create Your Pose Library
- Upload an image of a person (full-body or half-body both work).
- PicLumen detects and extracts the pose as an “openpose” image.
- Save/Add it to your personal pose library.
- We have also included five built-in sample poses to help you get started.
2. Apply a Pose to Your New Image
- Choose the pose you want from your library.
- Enter your prompt describing the character, style, or setting you want.
- PicLumen will combine the pose you selected with your prompt, producing an image that respects the chosen posture.
- Currently, Pose Control works with our PicLumen Realistic V2 and Pony Diffusion V6 models.
We can switch the model to PicLumen Realistic V2, and then slightly modify the prompt word to “a hansome business man, short hair, black business suit, masterpiece, best quality, background is city night, blur lighting.”, the image is generated according to the prompt word again, and the pose is maintained.
Helpful Tips
- Try Simpler Poses: If you only need a half-body or a minimal pose, those often generate cleaner, more accurate results.
- Avoid Conflicting Prompts: Don’t use prompts that clash with the selected pose. For example, if your pose shows a person sitting, make sure your prompt doesn’t say “standing with arms raised.” Contradictory instructions confuse the AI and may reduce quality.
- Multiple Attempts Might Be Necessary: AI generation can be a bit unpredictable. Don’t hesitate to tweak your pose or prompt and try again for the best outcome.
Important Notes
- Imperfect Results: Sometimes you’ll need extra effort to get the exact pose you want. This can involve refining your uploaded image, adjusting your “openpose” image, or iterating on your prompt.
- Model Compatibility: Pose Control is currently supported by PicLumen Realistic V2 and Pony Diffusion V6. More models may be added in the future.
