PicLumen Article Content Policies

To keep our community creative, respectful, and safe for all users, all articles published on PicLumen must follow the rules below.

1. No NSFW or Adult Content

Content that includes or attempts to depict the following is strictly prohibited:

  • Nudity, sexually explicit material, or sexual services
  • Pornographic content, erotic role-play, or fetish content
  • Suggestive content that focuses on sexual body parts or sexual acts

PicLumen is an all-ages platform. Articles must remain safe for work (SFW) at all times.

2. No Harmful, Violent, or Dangerous Content

Content may not include or promote:

  • Violence, gore, self-harm, or suicide
  • Hate speech or harassment targeting any group or individual
  • Encouragement of dangerous activities, criminal behavior, or physical harm
  • Threats, intimidation, bullying, or abusive language

We aim to foster a positive, creative environment. Any harmful or hateful content is not allowed.

3. No Real-Person Depictions or Personal Information

To protect privacy and safety, articles may not include:

  • Real people’s full names, likenesses, photos, or identifiable details
  • Celebrities, influencers, public figures, or private individuals
  • Personal data such as addresses, phone numbers, emails, or social media accounts

Fictional characters, fictional scenarios, and AI-generated personas are allowed, as long as they do not imitate real individuals.

4. No Copyright-Infringing or Stolen Content

Authors must ensure that:

  • All text, images, and assets are your own original work or properly licensed
  • No plagiarized, scraped, or copied content is submitted
  • You hold the rights necessary to publish everything included in your article

5. No Spam or Misleading Content

Articles must not:

  • Promote scams, spam links, or deceptive practices
  • Be generated purely for advertising without meaningful content
  • Include malicious scripts or harmful files

Enforcement

PicLumen reserves the right to review, hide, or remove any article that violates these policies. Repeated violations may result in account restrictions or suspension.
