Surreal Dragon Wrapped Around Floating Doors
About This Fantasy Dragon Illustration
A closer look at the subject, style and details in this image.
A long-bodied dragon curls around floating doors collected from unknown worlds. The doors vary from tiny openings held in its claws to enormous portals, while crooked architecture hangs nearby and the dragon’s tail vanishes into an impossible landscape.
The concept pairs surreal fantasy with engraved-looking linework, dense stippling, and a mysterious, clever mood. Its unusual portals and winding dragon suit a fantasy book cover or a poster built around an otherworldly setting.
