A Ragged Old Cat Holds an Alms Cup With Tired Eyes

A very old cat, in beggar’s rags, sits on its haunches. It is holding an alms cup in its front paws. A very tired look is on its face as it looks up at a possible benefactor. A young Samurai Cat, in full Samurai dress robes and with a sword in its belt, is tossing a gold coin into the alms cup. The coin is seen in mid air between the Samurai’s paw and the cup. The scene is a cobblestone street in an old Pagoda village. It is morning. The sun is not seen, but casts a light red and gold hue on the cloudy sky. The scene is done in the style of an old renaissance oil painting.
