Kinetic silhouette dress with vibrating transparent layered patterns

"Hypnosis" On the silhouette of her kinetic dress, "Omniverse," the dresses moved without any mechanical movement. Layers of transparent fabric and film were laser-cut so that the pattern disintegrated and reassembled with each step, "vibrating and breathing." And the patterns for part of the dress were drawn with ink on water—a Japanese technique called suminagashi. Glitches in the patterns were also intentional.
